It'd taken Bly nearly two and a half hours to fit together the right outfit for his date this evening. The boys were off at the bars or on their own dates, leaving BB Hollis to find his own way around town this evening. Lucky for him he'd managed to meet a girl; a very beautiful, blue eyed girl who also worked with a band on tour. A major turn on if Bly had ever thought of one. But it'd taken a few minutes to charm her enough for her to desire to go out to dinner with him. Now that he was DRESSED simply enough and to his satisfaction Bly had snagged the keys to the band car that they all shared and headed towards the car. It seemed all his boys were drinking tonight considering not one of them had even attempted to take the car; responsibility at it's finest and one of the few moments that you could tell they'd been in trouble before, more than apparent that they'd learned their lesson in their earlier years of touring.
Sliding into the seat he checked his reflection in the visor mirror before starting the car and checking his phone; making sure he was heading in the right direction to pick Lil up. He'd heard her called several things; Lillian, Lily, Lillete .. but for him Lil just stuck and it was playing over and over in his head as he bounced his head to the music, his lips moving with the words while he stopped at stop signs and the like. Part of him was wishing he'd grabbed himself a little sneak-a-toke before heading out. But being sober for the first date was always a priority for the lead singer.
The tour was odd in the way they placed their buses, it amazed Bly still that he had to drive several to ten blocks just to find someone else's bus. But once in awhile they made it easier, walking distance would've been great. Seeing UWGC bus he pulled in next to it where other's who brought their cars parked. Messing with his hair a bit once more Bly sighed, sang a couple bars of random songs in an attempt to chill out and the got out of the car.
One thing Bly noticed that he did, something few others did, was get out of the car and go to the door for the date. Generally dude's honked the horns nowadays and the girl's dashed out the door as if it were a mating call. Perhaps that mentality was precisely why he got out, rang the doorbell, met whoever he should meet, and then opened the girl's door for her to enter the car. Respecting a woman just made things smoother, and truthfully they deserved it. Even when they were being absolutely insane. . .okay most of the time cause sometimes those really psycho and mean girls just needed to be put in their place. Coughing into his hand and sliding his sunglasses on top of his head Bly rapped his knuckles on the tour bus door, bouncing on his heels and back several times while he waited.

she liked the best. Lily slipped into the small bathroom sliding on the skirt and halter top she had chosen. She then plugged in the curling iron the band shared and heated it up as she applied her make up. She didn’t do much just mascara, pink eye shadow and some eyeliner to highlight her eyes. But by the time she finished the iron was ready and she slowly began to curl her white blonde hair into pretty ringlets the fell to her shoulders. She wasn’t sure why but she found herself to be nervous to go on a date with Bly. Perhaps it was because it was her first real date in a long time. Hanging out with Adam didn’t really count (even if she did like him more then a friend.) And Bly was one of the first guys to notice her on tour and offer her a date. Sighing Lily finished off her hair spraying some lovely scented hair spray into it to make it last the night. She bit her bottom lip as she smoothed out her outfit making sure everything was perfect before unplugging the iron and making her way out of the small bathroom. Lily found some of her favorite perfume which in Adam’s words made her smell like an angel in heaven. She sprayed some onto her neck and outfit making sure she didn’t ruin the date by smelling or something silly like that. Once that was done Lily began to search the bus for her flats not wanting to wear heels and risk falling on her face in front of Bly. She found her blue ones sliding them gently onto her feet. The knock on the door caused Lily to jump as she scurried to the back of the bus grabbing her purse and throwing things into it like gum, mints, her phone and her camera. She quickly moved back to the front smoothing out her outfit one last time before slowly reaching her hand out and turning the knob of the door. Bly stood looking amazing in a casual but dressy attire. Lily smiled shyly reaching her fingers up to pull her hair away from her eyes. She hoped she hadn’t over dressed. ’’ Ello Bly you look wonderful’’ she spoke softly her british accent flowing through her words. Her smile stayed upon her lips as she slowly closed the door behind her and stepped out next to him. ’’shall we go?’’she questioned lightly knowing she was in for an amazing night.[/ul][/blockquote] Words: 607 Tags:Bly Notes: aww they are so cute

Standing on the small steps that led to the bus door Bly could barely make out the soft steps of a small girl making her way through what she called home. All the while Bly was touching his outfit and face, checking his breath, looking for a flaw that she would notice so that he might stamp it out before she had a chance to see. Bly wasn't ... not confident, he simply wasn't very good at first dates. They always made him nervous and this girl well, her 'brother figure' or whatever she considered Adam had made an impression on Bly. Making him even more determined not to screw this up. Watching the doorknob turn Bly prepared for those first few moments before a date starts; where both parties look their dates up and down wondering if they made the right choice.
The moment he set eyes on Lil ... he knew without a doubt he'd made an excellent choice. She looked absolutely lovely and Bly could feel himself smile without intending to. You look fantastic. Far better than me. He told her before stepping back off the steps and holding out his hand to help her down the steps. From what they'd discussed, she was known for tripping over air. And though he'd find that endearing Bly was sure that it would be far from humorous for her to experience on their first date. I erm, made a reservation at the nicer end of the cafe ... only because it was last minute. Perhaps sometime I can take you somewhere nicer? He asked, biting the inside of his cheek as he listened to himself speak. This guy was famous for getting ahead of himself. Who was to say either of them would even want a second date after tonight. And then she smiled, he looked into her blue eyes, and Bly was caught up in her all over again.
Upon reaching the car Bly opened the passenger door open for Lil to slide in before shutting it behind her. Ever the gentlemen Bly fully believed in 'ladies first.' Something he knew he'd have to go thank his mother for after this night was over. What kind of tunes would you like to go along with our ride? He asked her, flipping the visor down before her to reveal a plethora of cd's and an ipod dangling beside it. After all, he was the member of a band; he was bound to have a huge collection of music that could rival anyone's. What Lil was seeing right now? That was nothing, those were for car rides; wait til she saw what him n' the guys had going on inside the bus and backstage of the shows. They weren't shy about their adoration for music.
After she chose something to listen to he turned it up loud enough that the system they'd installed two years ago bumped, but didn't deafen either of them or cause conversation to halt or anything. I'm not sure what to talk about honestly. You've kind of stolen my speech skills. He said in earnest before pulling into a parking space near the cafe. Far enough away that they could enjoy the warm weather with a short walk. Getting out of the car he walked over to her side and opened her door, as per his personality. As she exited the vehicle Bly held his arm out for Lil to link her arm through. By the way, I hope you don't mind if I call you Lil ... that just fits more than anything else I could think of. A light blush reached his cheeks while he opened the cafe door for her. Bly Hollis wasn't the type to rush into relationships, three .. four dates down the road he started to consider it; he liked to be sure about the girl before making a straight up commitment. But that was a conversation best saved for a little bit later in the evening.
The waiter led them towards the back, where the table overlooked the now lighting up streets full of lights and sounds and a small fountain nearby. It was the nicest table in the small restaurant, the one that Bly had asked for. Once in awhile being a tour veteran had it's perks. You can have whatever you like. He told her whilst pulling out her chair for her to sit before taking his own seat, the waiter handing them their menus and taking their drink orders. Pepsi please It felt too simple, but it was an easy date he noticed. It was okay to be casual about what he was drinking and liquor wouldn't do if he was driving his date home. Stealing a glance at Lil he smiled to himself, her blue eyes sparkled. God, he was definitely a sucker for those bright blues.

she replied with a smile as she followed him down the steps taking his hand as he offered it to her. A small nervous giggle escaped her lips as she reached her free hand up and brushed her hair away from her eyes. ’’ Its fine I mean I’d be perfectly ok with eating at a burger joint’’ she replied with a small laugh as she looked over at Bly again. He truly was cute. ’’I really mean it Bly don’t go spending so much money on me’’. She almost added that she wasn’t worth it but stopped herself. She simply smiled. Lily had never been use to being spoiled by fancy dinners and she was one hundred percent ok with that fact. She was perfectly fine with a burger and a walk or something along those lines. She definitely was not a high class girl and that was one of the few things she loved about herself. Bly opened her door causing her to blush more. ’’Thanks’’ she said it softly and watched as he shut the door behind her and slid in on the other side. Lily slid on her seat belt and nodded at his question. He revealed his music collection causing her to smile as she pulled his I-pod to her level and began to search through the songs until she found one that she liked. She hit play before placing the device back into its spot before turning her gaze to Bly. Slowly her eyes scanned him before she looked down to her lap playing lightly with her fingers. She watched as his hand reached for the volume dial and he turned it up slowly. His comment surprised her and Lily let herself soak it in. She had deprived someone of their speech skills? That seemed almost impossible. She didn’t even know how to reply to that. ’’And you seemed so bold in the tour chat’’ she replied teasing him gently as the car came to a stop in the parking lot. Lily unsnapped her seat belt but before she could even reach for her door handle Bly was there and waiting. She found herself blushing once again as she linked her arm through his and began to walk with him into the Café. ’’I don’t mind I think its cute’’ she replied noting the blush on his cheeks causing her to smile to herself gently. Lily couldn’t believe she was on a date right now and with someone as sweet as Bly. Although she did miss Adam she couldn’t deny that she was having a good time. She bit her bottom lip as they were led to a reserved table. It was obviously the nicest one there which caused her nerves to take over. He was doing all these nice things for her but what if she did something stupid and screwed up the whole night. Being a klutz it was bound to happen. Bly pulled out her chair and Lily gave him a smile to say thanks before sitting and looking down at the menu in front of her. She wasn’t entirely sure what proper date food would be. Biting her lip she looked up at the waited. ’’ I’ll have a coke please’’ she said it softly and he disappeared to retrieve both of their drinks. Lily looked up at Bly placing her hands gently on the table in front of her. Her blue eyes wide with curiosity. ’’So tell me about yourself’’ she spoke gently giving him her full attention.[/blockquote][/ul] Words:643 Tags: Bly Notes: For sure although there is going to be some drama thrown their way lol

Sitting at the table across from Lil, the atmosphere perfectly relaxed, Bly finally began to chill out himself. The initial nervousness was finally starting to vanish from his mentality; leaving him to be himself completely once again. Wow, had she truly made him that nervous to begin with? Apparently so. The waiter brought their drinks and asked if they wanted more time to order. Bly nodded not because he was trying to be rude but .... I'm awful at picking things off menus ... I usually want to try everything I see a picture of. He said with a slight chuckle in his voice.
Flipping through the menu Bly allowed Lil's question to sink in before finally looking up and locking onto those ridiculously amazing blue eyes. I think that's a loaded statement ... it really depends what you want to know? The good things, the bad things, or my dirty little secrets? A smirk crossed his lips as he said this. One thing Bly wasn't trying to be was charming, he just said what he thought fit the moment; always. His words were always honest and if he lied ... ha, Bly had yet to grasp the whole lying concept. He had never truly understood why people couldn't just be honest, open their minds and fill the world with their unique thoughts; good or bad. Part of being honest meant filling everyone with the strange ideas that everyone could come up with. But if you were lying ... didn't that make you like ... a cliche or something? Moving on from the rambling in his brain Bly looked back at the menu, not realizing he had a perpetual smile on his face all because of the girl across from him.
Finally deciding on what he wanted to eat, something that most would consider a 'non-date food' Bly closed his menu and took a sip of his soda, focusing his eyes on Lil once more before swallowing and speaking. I guess the basics are ... I was born on four-twenty, my parents are huge hippies and great people. I grew up in a really pretty bit of Oregon ... and I hate liars and woman haters. It was a pretty simple summary of Bly Hollis; though it didn't delve inside his mind at all. It didn't reveal what he thought about while laying awake at night. He generally didn't share such things until he knew a person very well, until he felt that person wasn't going to turn into a fake person and walk away. Erm. I like to drink and I smoke pot, I'm not going to hide that from you ... I don't hop into bed with girls, so don't think that's what I'm after. I don't jump into relationships either. I want to know your heart before I do that. He said, a small smile on his face while his eyes dazzled. He didn't even know this girl yet but she made him feel a bit ... fuzzy.
Tell me about you now. I've rambled quite a bit as is. He said, a laugh popping from his lips while the waiter found his way towards them. Care to order you two? He asked politely. Bly waited for Lil to order before ordering his own food. Spaghetti and Meatballs, with the side salad and ranch. Can we have extra breadsticks please? He asked, the waiter wrote it all down, nodded, took the menus and walked away. Bly grinned sheepishly at Lil before speaking once more. I'm sorry, I didn't even ask if you like breadsticks. I love them, so if you do you're welcome to them too. God, sometimes he wished he knew how to stop talking. But Bly almost always had something to say.
Sitting back in the chair he smiled softly once more, sipping at his soda while he listened intently to her talk about herself. This was always the most bizarre part; having to summarize yourself for another person. But he figured it was going to be well worth it in the end ... it always was if he found a way to get a girl to go on a date with him. And with blue eyes sitting before him, her voice lilted him away from reality while they sat in their own.

she murmered reading it slowly. Once she had decided on what she wanted she gently closed her menu and looked back over to Bly who looked ready to answer her question. She gave him a gentle smile running her fingers through her hair as he spoke. She giggled gently deciding to let her flirtatious side take over. ’’How dirty are your secrets?’’ she questioned with a wink. Her eyes scanned him once again. Bly would not be a bad guy to get involved with. He was cute, fit and sweet. Definitely qualities Lily admired. And perhaps if this night went well she would end up with a kiss or something along that line. Lil listened contently as Bly told her what he called the basics. She smiled at everything he said continuing to keep her blue eyes on him. The fact that he didn’t jump into relationships made her frown slightly. Maybe tonight wouldn’t be that great. Especially if she screwed up. ’’Well I was born in July and I have two older brothers. My parents always took great care of me. I’m from London and I use to be big into Ballet but I also loved the guitar. So when I left London I met the girls and that’s how the band formed’’. Lily didn’t want to mention to much about her family. It was hard for her to talk about the fact that her mom had died from cancer and her dad had committed suicide shortly after. Or the fact that her brothers raised her until she was legal and she hasn’t spoke to them since. She decided that was a conversation better left for later. ’’I like to go out to Parties and drink but I’m not big on smoking or drugs it doesn’t bug me if that’s what others are into though, Other then that I’m pretty laid back and I just take things as they come’’. Lily stopped as the waiter came she smiled and ordered a plate of penne pasta with broccoli and cheese sauce. Her eyes watched him softly as she sipped her drink slowly before placing it down. ’’ You intrigue me you know, I look forward to spending time with you’’ she told him gently brushing her hair away from her eyes gently. Slowly she reached her hand over to his taking it gently and lacing her fingers through his with a small gentle smile. They fit well together but his hands were big and warm compared to her tiny cold ones. Either way this could be the beginning of something beautiful. There were about a million questions Bly wanted to ask Lil, but he figured he didn't want to bombard her just yet. Bly was a very thoughtful and curious person, he liked knowing all that there was to know but sometimes ... he'd learned that it was overwhelming for the other person to deal with. Some people just didn't like being asked a bunch of questions at once. Shaking his mind internally Bly pushed away all his whirring thoughts and listened to Lil answer his question. Taking another long sip of his drink Bly chuckled. Honestly all my dark secrets .. you'll eventually find out. Again, Bly was nothing if not honest and he was sure the closer he got to this girl the more she'd learn about him.
The waiter came with breadsticks, salad, and marinara sauce for the bread; smiling kindly before he made his exit. Bly made a mental note to leave a great tip, nothing was better than a waiter who thought of the smallest details without even being asked; they deserved to have a wad of money hidden on a table for them somewhere. These are honestly the best breadsticks I've had on tour in a long, long time. He said, taking several and putting them on the small appetizer plate, handing her the other plate with his free hand. Taking the small bowl of marinara sauce he put it between them, figuring that if they were on a date than she wouldn't be too upset having to share sauce with him; at least it wasn't a noodle. Not that thought made him smile in spite of himself. Ever seen Lady and the Tramp? This place makes me think of that. He said with a soft smile, he could be such a cheeseball sometimes; he knew that.
Ballet? That sounds ... beautiful I guess is the word. Because it's graceful. I'd like to see what you do sometimes... Bly was a sucker for the arts; painting, acting music, ballet was something his mother had shown him. In the back of his mind he could vaguely remember his mother telling about the times she danced on Broadway, before she'd accepted her hippie lifestyle. But even then, Bly had seen his mother dance about their home and the woods, his legs gracefully bending and moving; scratching the top of his head Bly laughed softly. Sorry, my mother used to do ballet too ... so I kind of got lost in remembering that. How'd you learn to play guitar? He asked, dipping one of his garlic breadsticks into the sauce before taking a bite, his expression showing he savored the taste. If one knew Bly well, they knew that he enjoyed every aspect of life; right down to the way his foods tasted. As odd as that might seem to people. But in fact, it made him fairly appealing most of the time. Because just imagine how it felt like to have him savoring a kiss.
In the back of his head Bly noticed Lil's expression shift slightly as he spoke of not jumping into relationships. What I mean is ... I don't like to just hop into things not knowing the person. Because someone ends up hurt. If I take the time to know a girl before hand ... then neither of us regret getting together. Shaking his head Bly sighed and took another bite of breadstick before setting it down, wiping his hands on the napkin. I can't explain myself very well sometimes. I'm sorry if I sound like a damned moron. Bly said, his cheeks blushing red right in front of her. Laughing at himself to ease the awkwardness of how he felt.
Biting his lower lip Bly listened to Lil's words, impressed with how sucked he got with her voice. i'm glad those things at least don't bug you .. I don't do any other drugs if that makes you feel better ... and I'm always down to drink with you. He said earnestly, finishing off his first breadstick and taking several sips of soda.
Lil's final statement caught Bly off-guard completely. She was intrigued by him? Now he hadn't expected that one, but he couldn't say it didn't bring a smile to his face. Squeezing her fingers lightly he smiled. It's good to hear that I caught your eye as much as you caught mine blue eyes. He said softly, reaching forward with his other hand and brushing away a strand of hair. That was definitely one of her most popping features; those eyes. They'd haunt him wherever he went for sure .. not that Bly would complain about such a thing.

she murmured softly. A kind smile moved to her lips as the waiter brought the breadsticks and sauce to their table. She turned to Bly smiling as she took a breadstick dipping it gently and biting into it slowly. They tasted amazing causing her to smile as Bly made his comment. ’’defintely the best I’ve ever had’’ she smiled gently finishing off the one she had and grabbing a few more to eat while they waited for their food. His comment about Lady and the Tramp caused her to giggle scanning the small resturaunt. ’’its quaint and cute I like it’’ she told him softly. All they needed was some spaghetti and meatballs and it would be the exact same minus the back alley part of it. Lily smile gently trying not to look sad at his comment. She simply nodded. ’’Thanks that’s sweet but I umm haven’t danced for awhile I kind of gave it up.’’. Normally she avoided the topic of anything that involved her past. She left London and everything there behind hoping for a new start and a slightly forgotten past. She wanted to remember her family just not all the things that tore it apart. ’’My mom did ballet too, Well I always did guitar too my brother taught me he said he didn’t want me to be to girly’’ she replied with a soft giggle. Lily had a slight ache in her chest thinking of her brothers. She hadn’t spoke to them in at least two years. They had been busy getting their families and jobs started. She was busy traveling the world. His comment about relationships made Lily smile softly shake her head squeezing his hand gently. ’’that’s ok I mean it still gives us freedom of not being tied down without knowing someone well enough’’ she whispered softly smiling against as her blue eyes stared at him. Bly was cute when he blushed she smiled looking at the small tint in his cheeks giggling softly. ’’We should definitely go to a party sometime it would be fun’’ she nodded in agreement. A blush tinted lily’s cheeks at his next comment causing her to avert her gaze to the table as he squeezed her fingers. She looked up meeting his gaze with a smile as he brushed her hair away from her eyes. She looked at his other hand taking her free hand and tracing her fingers along his skin gently. This night was going to turn out perfect she could tell.[/blockquote][/ul] Words:550 Tags: Bly Notes: Cutee

A smirk crossed his lips as she spoke of being unable to wait. Now, that was something Bly had never heard. Generally, girls at this point in a date had revealed what they'd want out of him; whether it was fame, sex, or something involving both. And Bly wasn't like that, if you wanted him then you had to be yourself and truly want to know him rather than want something from him. The more he talked to Lil, the more he saw that from her. And it was make his stomach flip a bit but he knew better than to jump to conclusions. He'd seen many a female flip their lid after an amazing date; not that he thought Lily would. But just saying, he knew better than to get ahead of himself. I'm not sure my secrets are all that thrilling. He finally gave off, wondering if any of them were really even classified as secrets. They were just things about his life he'd only told a select few. Her agreement of breadsticks and the place being quaint eased Bly's mind on his choice for their date. And he tapped his breadstick against hers in a mock cheers before biting into it. Swallowing and taking a sip of drink he smiled. I'm glad you like it, I wasn't sure... He told her, wishing sometimes that he had the censor box most people had so that he didn't always speak what he was thinking.
Tilting his head to the side while he began eating his salad Bly thought on how to reply to this. The way her voice changed upon mention of giving up dance ... it was sad and he wondered what had happened to cause such a tone. But then again, everyone had their secrets it would seem and he didn't want to pry. Well, if you ever choose to do it again, give me a call. He said earnestly, taking a hefty bite of lettuce and such before setting his fork down to wipe his lips with a napkin. Meticulous manners, go Bly. A small chuckle passed his lips as she said her brother didn't want her to be a girly girl; had he had a sister Bly would've been the same way ... though, so would've his parents. I guess ... maybe one day you'll share your secrets too. He told her, their eyes locking and his eyes proving he was completely honest. The guy didn't want to pry into her heart and business if it was so painful, which by the way her eye color shifted to a lighter blue, Bly was sure it was. Shifting in his seat Bly sighed for a moment, content. Did you know your eyes have different shades of blue? He asked her, even though he feared sounding like a total creep.
I'm glad you agree, some women take it offensively. And that's not how it's meant at all. He locked gazes with her once more, his only way of showing that he was dead serious but not in a bad way. i promise. He said softly, finishing off his salad. Not even ten minutes later the waiter brought their steaming food out and placed it before them, as well as new drinks as theirs had almost completely been drained. We'll definitely be full. He said with a laugh before thanking the waiter just as he was walking away. Anytime you'd like to party, let me know. Our bus is always stocked for such things. He told her in earnest, wondering what would come of such a party. Though those thoughts never got far, Bly didn't like to disrespect women even in his mind.
Goosebumps began to raise where she was brushing her fingertips along his skin. Now there was something he'd never had a girl do before. But he wasn't going to complain, as far as he could tell these two had stumbled across something totally new. And Bly was anxious to find out where it could lead despite his own rules.
