The year is 2382. Tensions are rising in the Wizarding World as families and friends are becoming more and more divided on the subject of Muggles and those wizards and witches who can claim Muggle blood running through their veins. In the past few months several Muggle deaths have occurred that have been so sensational that even the Wizarding World is aware of them. But besides the sensationalism of the newspaper, these deaths have the quality of being unexplainable by Muggle authorities... but not Wizarding.
Despite the rumors and speculation, the Ministry of Magic refuses to investigate further, declaring that the deaths have nothing to do with the magic world. But is that really the case or is there something more that the Ministry is not letting on? And what about the two new recent bodies that have shown up? This time they're not Muggles, instead a Half-Blood wizard and his wife, a Muggle-born witch. Are the pure-blood extremists making their move?
Nobody knows and to make matters worse the tensions of the Wizarding World are spilling over into the safe haven of Hogwarts. As if learning how to transfigure a cup into a rabbit or worrying about asking out the hottie in Potions, students have the added concern about where the world is headed and what side they plan to stand up for. And yet all they wanted to do was learn Just A Little Magic
