WHATSTHEWORSTTHATICANSAY t h i n g s a r e b e t t e r o f f t h i s w a y♥ s o l o n g a n d g o o d n i g h t ♥ SOLONGANDGOODNIGHT She really wanted to do something that didn't have to do with leaving the bus today. Violet laid in her bunk, head buried into the pillow. She had been like that for three hours, thinking about her whole life. She had no idea what the hell she was doing. She was wrapped up in her blanket, blasting Dance Gavin Dance. She was probably alone on the bus unless someone from the crew or her band was sleeping in the bunk. Not like she was bothering them. She was being quite quiet. Since she wasn't being a punching bag for her parents she was actually quiet balanced. The whole balance problem or some shit her doctor made up was nothing. Fucking corruption. She sighed softly, not loud enough to wake someone up if there were there. She picked up her head and ran a hand through her red hair as she turned over onto her back. Which, ached every now and then as did her ribs and when it rained her whole body was in pain from some weather shit. That's what she had the heavy duty pain killers for, she couldn't handle that sort of pain. It was just too hard for her. She couldn't breathe or even move sometimes. Anna took care of her a lot because it was unbearable for her to do anything that required even the slightest movement. She didn't even blame her mother and father. She thought she deserved it to be honest although, she would never admit that to herself. She couldn't even bring herself to hate them. A tear almost escaped from the corner of her eye as she wiped it quickly and wrapped her arms around herself. Sometimes she just needed to give herself a hug when no one was around to give her one. She sighed again and yawned. She was a bit tired probably from laying there for so long. She moved herself a little as she peaked out of her little bunk noticing that there was only soft voices coming from the back and that it was dark. She looked at the clock, it was nine already? What the hell?
She didn't even know how long she slept for but that was fine really. She didn't care all that much. Their show was last night. It went great, honestly, Violet was seriously happy about that. She loved it when people loved her music, or the silly lyrics that she wrote. Even though, honestly, she didn't mean any of them. She moved the hair out of her eyes and side again. Adjusting the nose rings on both sides of her nose and taking off her shirt and bra, pulling on a fresh one and a tank top with a clock on it and a red plaid shirt that went to her elbows. After running a hand through her hair and then grabbing her brush out of her bunk to brush out the knots. After that was done she pulled on skinny jeans and her sneakers, grabbing her itouch and walked into the front part of the bus.
She grabbed a bottle of vitamin water from the fridge and picked a movie from her huge drawer of dvds and popped one into the player, laying down on the couch and sipping on her vitamin water. This was exactly what she needed. She was glad the tour was staying in New York for a few days even though she was afraid her parents could find her. But she knew they didn't pay any attention to the news or the music world for that matter. She was quite comforted by the fact that she was safe in her bus.

ace had spent too much time killing himself over this chick. he was interested, but she was underage. she was fragile and he was bad at keeping things completely whole. that included hearts. no, he never meant to hurt anyone, he hated hurting people. though, for some reason he always hurt others. the attempts to keep the people he dated and slept with all went down hill as quickly as they had started up it. it wasn't exactly that he was afraid of committment, either. his whole problem was that he was afraid of truly getting hurt, so he had to hurt someone in order to save himself the mental and physical pain. it was his only real self defense mechanism. that, or he was simply only interested in the sex, but when that was the case, he let them know right off the bat. he hated when girls were under the false impression that he was going to stay with them. he just needed something to take his mind off of other things. but for some reason, this girl felt different. she wrung his stomach in a different way. made him want to get to know her better, and more than just her insides. he wanted to..stay with her? it wasn't something he had really ever thought about before. ever. this violet was small..so fragile that it scared him a bit.
this particular girl was so small.. so innocent. she really hadn't had too much experience with all the things that came with touring, but that was okay. that made her more adorable in his eyes. he wanted someone that would just sit and talk to him. or sit and watch movies. he didn't want a relationship based one hundred percent on sex. he'd had enough of those, and he wasn't ready to get into another. he wanted to take things slow and such. he was getting older...and he was taking it as a sign to start slowing down. he wasn't sure. but as of right now, he was on his way over to violet's bus. he had just watched one of her shows, the first one of hers he'd ever been to, and truth be told, they were as catchy as he'd heard they were. he was repeating the songs over and over in his head, the techoish beats in the back sticking the words in his mind as if someone had glued them there. it was no wonder why people enjoyed their music so much. they obviously deserved to be on tour with some of the best bands the world has come to know. the smile graced his lip as he stopped in front of her bus. so many people thought he just wanted in her pants, but that was the exact opposite. it really was. and the next person who said it wasn't going to be a happy camper, because he was sick and tired of taking it. the only person he really ever took shit from was kaige, because he gave him shit back. but not anybody else. fuck. no.
his dark eyes stared up at the door. was he doing the wrong thing right now? was he pushing his way in without being invited? no, he couldn't have been. they had agreed together that they were going to hang out and watch movies..right? he had other things on his mind, sure, but that was because of kaige. he wouldn't be thinking of sex right now if it wasn't for his red-headed friend. this stupid bet on who could get into the girl's pants first, of course.. kaige wasn't competing with violet. nah, he was going after her friend, who was obviously as uninterested as a five year old that had broccoli placed in front of them. he shook his head. just because he wanted in her pants didn't mean he didn't want a real relationship, right? he gave a small confident nod and knocked on the door just hard enough for it to be heard within the bus. taking a step back, he ran a hand through his hair, staring at the door.

WHATSTHEWORSTTHATICANSAY t h i n g s a r e b e t t e r o f f t h i s w a y♥ s o l o n g a n d g o o d n i g h t ♥ SOLONGANDGOODNIGHT Violet laid on the couch, chewing her bottom lip and sighing to herself. She wondered why she wasn't out having fun like everyone else, instead of just sitting inside and watching this stupid movie. She sat up and sighed, her back cracking lightly as she twisted her torso, making sure it cracked. It did shit like that often. It cracked when it wasn't suppose to but it didn't hurt her really, just felt really good. Another thing she wondered if she should be worried about. Oh well, not really that bad or anything. She ran a hand through her hair as she hummed a song to herself for a moment, when something hit her hard in the face like a bucket of cold water. Wasn't Ace suppose to be coming over? Oh shit. She forgot about that. Jumping up from the couch she moved quickly to the tour bus's bathroom, opening up the small compartment and stepping in. Grabbing her make up bag from the sink and pulling out her eyeliner and her chap stick.
She applied a thin line around her eyes so that anybody could hardly see it and some chap stick as she threw it back into the bag. Oh, body spray. She started to dig through the tiny make up purse and jumped as her make up brushes clattered to the floor. "Shit, fuck." She grumbled as she picked them up and placed them back into her bag. She sighed again as she leaned against the counter and put it against the mirror. Whatever, she didn't have time to find expensive make up or something like that. She looked just fine, or well, she looked how she always looked. She didn't understand why she was so nervous. Not like she never had a date before...well, wait. Yeah, she never did have a date before.
Vi wondered back into the tiny living room and curled up on the couch again, biting the nail on her thumb as she played with her iphone, which was certainly her best friend. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair again, trying to make sure it wasn't as knotted as usually, seeing as she had no real care about how she looked anymore. She just wanted to look like her. Vi was half asleep, she was pretty sure she was falling asleep or something till she heard a knock and sprung up from the couch again, taking the bottle of water she had and taking a deep drink to try to make sure her throat wasn't dry. After running her hand through her red hair a few times she pushed the bus door open carefully and looked down at Ace. "Hey, uh..come in." She spoke softly as she stepped out of the way and a little bit behind the bus door. Why did the sky look dark. Shit, she hoped it wasn't going to rain.

ace sighed to himself quietly. was he making a mistake by meeting this girl? was thinking about sexual intercourse with her a bad idea? he was just a guy.. isn't that what girls expected from them? he wasn't sure but if he hadn't been really thinking about it before today, well.. he was definitely thinking about it now. damn kaige for bringing out his competitive side, and damn him twice for always making stupid bets with him. oh, and damn him a third time for always beating him. ace rarely ever won a bet between him and kaige, which is why he had started paying him off with one dollar bills instead of the larger bills. fifty in ones would probably compel him to decline the win money, that is.. if he won. something told him that he wasn't going to win, he felt confident that kaige would lose this just one time. he had met the girl kaige was trying to get, she was uninterested, but then again..he had that charm and hold over people. maybe he would win her over before he got violet in bed.. though he didn't really care if he won this stupid bet or not. he wanted a real relationship with this teenager, and he didn’t plan on hurting her. she was cute and innocent looking. she sort of gave off the vibe that she constantly wanted to better herself by…constantly insulting herself?
he hated that, honestly. when girls looked past their good qualities and only focused on the bad. violet was a mature, gorgeous girl and she was going to grow to be even more amazing as she aged; they all did. these thoughts were streaming through his mind as he tapped his foot into the gravel patiently, humming the tune to one of her bands songs. he liked music like that, in all honesty. he knew that kaige and most of his other friends didn't really like it, but he didn't really care. no. he didn't listen to kesha, because that bitch was just flat out annoying, but in a sense, off like a prom dress was similar, only in a much better way. the music and the beat behind the lyrics was better and sounded better with the lyrics, and even though the lyrics had no real meaning to them, it was still fun to listen to. he liked that when it came to music. if it wasn't going to have some significant meaning that made you think and think about the lyrics, then it at least has to have a good bass line or techno background that made you want to jump and sing along with a smile. that’s what made her little band so perfect to him, honestly. after a few minutes he frowned. was she not home? maybe he was just not waiting long enough. he wasn’t sure.
almost as if she could read his mind, she opened the door. he looked up at her, a bright smile on his face. her hair was darker than it seemed, a really natural with a slightly unnatural over tone. he wondered if that was her natural color but he would never actually ask. he found that sort of thing rude, so when it came to actually asking, he never did. after a few moments, she stepped to the side, opening up the stairs and door way so he could walk in. ace was glad that she was giving him the chance to get to know her. she seemed like a really sweet person, and when he told her that he didn't just want to be around her to try to have sex with her, like he was sure many guys on tour did, he was being completely honest. sure, he made a bet and all, but that didn’t mean anything. quietly, he started up the stairs, closing the door behind him to block out the semi cold winds that were blowing the trees around outside. "hello." he said in a slightly sing songy voice as he looked around the bus. it was a lot cleaner than his and kaige's. "you did a great job up there tonight. i'm glad i went to watch you guys perform and stuff." he said with another happy smile.
"i can't get your songs out of my head." he said, sitting down on one of the couches hesitantly. he liked it on her bus, it seemed a lot more peaceful than his, even though only him and ace had a bus because their band was rather large. it contained two or three more people than a normal band would have, so he and kaige stayed on their own bus. he liked it better that way, though. sometimes, people got on his nerves, or he wanted to get drunk in peace. either way, he liked the way kaige never really questioned it, he just let him alone. today, he was surprisingly absolutely clean. maybe it was because he had known he was going to go see violet.. maybe it was because alcohol just didn't seem appealing to him today. whichever it may be, he wasn't intoxicated at all. "so, how as your day been?" he asked pleasantly. "and what do you have planned, if anything at all, for us to do?" he said with a smile. the last thing he remembered they were talking about movies, so he was sort of looking forward to that. he liked movies. watching movies was one of his favorite things to do besides perform and drink…well, and have sex, but that one didn’t count right now. he ran a hand through her hair, sort of hoping the younger female would sit down beside him.

WHATSTHEWORSTTHATICANSAY t h i n g s a r e b e t t e r o f f t h i s w a y♥ s o l o n g a n d g o o d n i g h t ♥ SOLONGANDGOODNIGHT She would be lying if she didn't say she was scared. She was terrified. She was never so good with strangers. Violet wasn't a stranger loving person even though this guy could be qualified as one she was scared out of her wits. She normally wasn't so bad though. The only reason she was like this was because he seemed to be nicer than most but admitted that he had partying problems. She gulped, wondering if that would be bad. Would Anna approve of him? She didn't rely on her friend's approval that much but she did take in their opinion in when she needed too. She was afraid though and that was the only way to explain it. Well to her that is. She sighed loudly as she ran a hand through her hair. She was actually quite impatient as of now. Which was odd for her since she was never impatient ever in her life. She also wasn't the type to invite strangers to her bus to hang out. She had only really talked to Ace once or twice. Once on AIM and a few times in the chatbox and yeah at the show when he asked if they could hang out. She said yes.
Of course by then, she wondered what the hell she was thinking. This wasn't her. Nor was it ever going to be here. She should just hide or something. But of course she had to open the door and see his face. Which wasn't so bad. He was...well...amazingly good looking to her. She didn't know what exactly made her want to get to know him so much, but she knew it must of been a lot considering she really did like him. She was just a bit unsure as always. She could never tell a time when she wasn't sure about anything. She felt like it affected every aspect of her life which is probably did but she tried to ignore it. She tried to push it to the back of her head which normally helped her try to get through her busy day without being plagued by thoughts that shouldn't have mattered.
She hoped the bus was clean. Honestly, living with her band was pretty clean. All three girls needed it to be clean. Violet had a habit of tripping and falling over everything due to her clumsiness. Although, it wasn't her band's fault that Violet couldn't pick up her feet and step over things. She really could put in the effort but then again, Violet wasn't that bright. She was but there was a lack of common sense right there. She ran a hand through her hair again as she looked down at him when she opened the door. Smiling softly as she moved away and watched him close the door. She walked away from him and towards the tiny fridge, turning around and throwing a glance at him from over her shoulder. " Thanks, I didn't really...know if you were playing a set....but...I'll come watch next time." She spoke softly again, not raising her voice. She never did. She never spoke against someone or raised her voice to them as much as her friends had told her that it wouldn't hurt she just kept her tone shy of a whisper.
She looked through the food and found absolutely nothing she wanted. Biting her lip she straightened up and walked over sitting next to him, sinking into the couch. "Yeah...Catchy songs seem to be a talent of mine." She said as she shrugged her shoulders and pulled her legs up on the couch and crossed them indian style, looking at the blank T.V. She looked at him from the corner of her eyes as he asked questions. "Fine...I guess. I kinda fell asleep....Or tried too...Just kinda laid in my bunk and tried to think of stuff...Didn't work." She spoke with another shrug of the shoulders as she wrapped a finger around a red lock of hair after she looked back at him. "Um...those three drawers....are stacked with movies go pick one..since I'm indecisive..." She honestly, wanted to curl up against him and relax but she didn't think that was appropriate right now. Especially since she just met him. Plus, she didn't really...think that he liked her like that. She was young. The youngest band member on the tour and no one would approve ( especially adults ) of her fooling around with a twenty five year old. That was like nine years older than her. It was incredibly illegal since she wasn't even eighteen yet.
