Violet was sitting on the bus's back lounge's couch ( as always) She normally was there when she wasn't hanging out with Ace, or Anna, or Tuesday and Nessie. Today, she was just alone. Deciding not to hang out with anyone. She walked around the bus, took a shower because her bus had one of those it was so damn cool to her. But she took a shower, redyed her hair and did her nails or some stupid shit like that. She ran a hand through her freshly dyed red hair though and looked up at the old movie playing on screen. This would be so much better if Ace was here watching it with her. She smiled lightly as she played with the threads from her shirt and thought about Ace. He was different from most strangers and guys. She knew he cared a lot about her and it showed. She was happy with that. She cared a lot about him too. She just was afraid and normally, Violet tended to freeze up when she was scared. She hated being afraid though, she knew that was her weakness, that and her tendency to never ever stick up for herself. The little red head couldn't do it. She had no backbone to her whatsoever. Either Anna or Tuesday or even Nessie had to do it for her. She was just one of those kids who was constantly picked on in school but never really cared.
Her phone went off as she started thinking and brought her out of her thoughts. Sighing, she picked it up and looked at the text from Anna. Oh, they had a signing soon. Jumping up from the couch she walked over to her bag and pulled out clothing. Shorts, a oversized button up shirt and cowboy boots. After pulling off her sweatpants and tank top she threw them on, noticing the tiny scars along her skin from the abuse she had taken. She shuddered, glad to be away from there and quickly buttoned up her shirt, slipping on her boots. She grabbed some lipgloss and eyeliner and applied very little so it was barely noticeable and grabbed her hat, her phone and her ipod and sunglasses as she ran out of the bus.
Hell, she couldn't be late to her own signing. That would be bad. She walked across the parking lot to the signing booths and found her table with their sign on it that said Off Like A Prom Dress signing. Sighing in relief she sat down in one of the chairs and was instantly handed a permanent marker. Well, this was going to be fun.

Today was one of those days; the type of day where Tuesday had gotten up early, eaten her cheerios, grabbed her guitar and sat around writing music. She had pretty much been up the whole day, and now she was sitting on one of the empty stages. There was a band practicing not too far from her, and she was pretty much lost in their music. Her guitar was sitting next to her, with the notebook she kept all her lyrics in next to it. A slight breeze picked up and she as looked around, her mind was elsewhere rather than the music she had been playing. She drifted in and out of paying attention, and her mind went back to being a kid for some reason. In that moment she wondered where her sister was hiding today, actually where all the girls from Off Like A Prom Dress were hiding. Looking at her phone she hit the home button and noticed no one had called or texted, and something about that made her grin a bit. Putting her hands back behind her she looked up at the sky, and just relaxed. It was one of those days, the kind that you looked forward to when you were in school. The kind where you looked out the window and got excited because you know that in about fifteen minutes the bell would ring and you would be going home. Tuesday wanted to kick off her shoes and just lay back for the rest of the day, she really had nothing to do or anyone to see. That was the wonderful part about tour life on some days, you could sit back and do nothing if it suited you especially if you had already played a show; Tuesday was having that day. As the breeze picked up again she sat there looking up at the sky and wondering how had life become so good? How had she ended up sitting on a stage doing what she loved to do? Probably sheer luck of the draw and because Violet her best friend and band mate had managed to make it happen.
As she daydreamed her phone started going off, she opened her eyes from behind her raybans and looked down. It was the band’s manager, the message simple read signing. Tuesday wanted to groan but she hadn’t done much all day. At that point she got up, she picked up her guitar and made a small jog to the bus, she hadn’t really gone too far at all. The reason Tuesday hated tour life was this reason, as she jogged from the stage to the bus she found that the patches of dirt kicked up as she did. Of course this made her kind of upset they were new sneakers, looking down her suede Macbeth’s were a bit dusty and the laces showed it. Tuesday groaned as she opened the door to the bus and realized it was empty, walking up the steps she made her way to her bunk. Throwing the guitar down on to it, she sat down and dusted off her sneakers the dirt was coming off easy enough which made her smile. Finally getting the laces to a closer shade of white, she got off her bed and walked into the nearby bathroom. She looked at herself her hair was straight still, and her make up was still in place this made her grin. Fixing her flannel over shirt, and adjusted her jean cut off’s. Looking herself over once more she pushed her fingers through her hair and fixed her necklaces. Walking out of the bathroom, she picked her phone off the bed. Looking at it she hadn’t even noticed that it had fallen out of her pocket, she picked up her aviators off the bed and put them on. Walking out of the bus she back out in the sun, and she groaned at the dirt. Okay, so Tuesday hated the dirt that was wafting up due to the wind and the fact that there was no grass, she made it a priority to write a letter to make sure that someone would start growing grass on these concert grounds.
Tuesday bobbed off towards the signing tents, as she walked the crowds got thicker and people just seem to fill in every last space around her. She could see the tents there were lines backed up as far as the eye could see. Okay so people had started to pile in already, walking around she followed the line of tents. Finally she came upon the one she was looking for. In black letters it said “Off Like A Prom Dress” that was her. Pushing the hanging fabric to the side she walked in to find Violet sitting there. She was signing photos like she was a machine; her manager eyed Tuesday. Okay so she was few minutes but she couldn’t help it. A permanent marker was handed to her and she took the empty seat next to Violet, and she was handed something to sign. "Violet! Where have you been woman? I have been all alone today," she said as she handed a tote bag with their logo on it. She scribbled her name on it and was handed something else; her eyes were on Violet though she smiled at the guests. It was this kind of weird semi profile of her face to the guests. Tuesday turned to see a girl hand her two things and she internally groaned. She wasn’t a fan of signings she could see things that would make her annoyed, and the people asked such stupid questions. Oh well, it was all part of the glam life of being a rockstar.

Signing. The only reason Violet never dreaded it was because she liked her fans. Honestly, you would have never guessed by the way her shy personality was. But she was willing to talk to any of them as long as they wanted to talk to her for. As long as they didn't try to hurt her or anything then she was fine. She was comfortable in the plastic chair, signing her signature on all the items handed to her. A few said hello and she greeted them back with the same sweet smile she showed off. Even though she may have been signing, her thoughts weren't there at the moment. They were wondering where the hell her other band mates were. She hadn't seen any of them actually. Even though she didn't go looking for them either. But she hoped that they would come soon or something. She bit down on her lip as she signed things and everything. People were started to give her fan made bracelets which she wore on her wrist a lot. Sometimes. she wondered a lot if she was made for this rock star life. She was just a sixteen year old girl who really just put words together. She didn't even know what the hell writing music was till she tried not so hard and that was what had came out. Even though, some people have said to her that it hardly qualified as music. She tried pushing those comments away. She never dealt well with criticism. Not that she got mad, she just got upset. Beating herself down, asking herself why she couldn't write any better. She tried not to let those thoughts sink into her head now though, that wouldn't be good at all.
She just pushed them into the back of her head. Where all other thoughts that she didn't want to think about right now were. Like, Ace. She didn't need him distracting him as she was signing. even though she did wonder where the he was. She just wanted to see him. It was kind of sad. She trusted him but then she didn't. Sure, she could take the pain if he was going to give her any. She had dealt well with pain in her life. Mostly every day of her life. Till she moved in with Tuesday and Nessie that is. She didn't think she would have been able to survive all that long if she was stuck in her parent's home any longer. She no longer had bruises around her wrists and none of her bones were broken daily. It was a relief to her, she had always spent her life living in fear of being killed even though as much as she hated to admit it she did wish that one day it would of happened. But now, she definietly didn't. She was just happy with everything right now including the band and her friends. She had the people that she loved the most around her all the time and that was enough for her to just be happy. "Any new songs coming up soon?" Vi looked up at the girl and nodded. "Yeah, very soon." She looked at the two empty seats beside her and ran a hand through her hair. She looked down at her phone this time, seeing if anyone sent her a text telling her that they were going to be late. It didn't look like it. So, she could only assume that they were going to be there sooner or later.
She pushed the bangs out of her eyes and concentrated on signing all the posters and asking questions. Till she heard a voice and smiled, looking over her shoulder to wave at Tuesday. "Around, you know? On the bus. I let myself had a me day and redyed my hair." She said as she shook the hair repeatedly from her eyes as she signed things. " Are you really with Ace from Viola Lion?" Violet looked up and shook her head. "We're just good friends...he's um a big fan of our band." She answered the question and the person shrugged and moved down the line. Violet glanced at Tuesday and kept signing as soon as someone handed her something. "Where have you been?" She asked her friend as she handed back a t-shirt and signed a poster, handing that back also. She hoped her hand wasn't going to cramp up. She hated it when it did that. It was always so stressing. "Have you seen your sister too?" She asked another question, as always. Violet was asking questions.
