Eleanor awoke to the sound of her phone beeping. She rolled over lazily and checked it. It was a text from Vanna. She raised an eyebrow. It was strange for Vanna to be up this early. ‘Hey, just wondering... where are you...??’. She was in a hotel room, similar to the one she was in last night. She was alone and naked, so she could only imagine what she had done last night. She sat up, looking around. Eleanor didn’t mind waking up alone. It beat the awkward after sex conversation. You know, the one where you just take a long time to put on your clothes and say things like ‘so... I’ll... uh... I’ll see you around I guess’. She looked at the clock. It was eleven. She stretched, getting out of the bed. Eleanor walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. The shower in the tour bus was horrible. It always went back and forth between cold and hot. She figured, as long as she was here, she might as well take advantage of the hotel room that whats-his-face paid for. Now that she thought about it, she couldn’t really remember that much about him. She remembered almost the whole night, except him. His name started with a d. She was almost positive. It was something like Daryl, or Daniel or something. Danny? Whatever. She turned off the water, stepped out of the shower, and dried off.
Eleanor walked back into the room, putting her clothes on. Pulling her tank top over her head, she noticed something on the nightstand. A wallet. He had forgotten his wallet. Maybe there was ID inside... Maybe there was money. She opened it, no ID, but there WAS a twenty dollar bill. And, because she figured she’d never see him again, she decided that the ‘finders keepers’ rule definitely applied. She smirked, putting the wallet in her pocket. After getting dressed, she texted Vanna back and left the hotel. Eleanor was glad she didn’t have a show tonight. The hotel wasn’t too far from the tour busses, and it was a warm sunny day. She didn’t mind walking.
She walked along the street, many people stopping and asking things like ‘hey, are you that girl from Junesong?’ Eleanor shook her head, and denied every question, saying that it was just a coincidence that she looked like her, and that she got that a lot. Eleanor wasn’t quite used to having fans yet, and her shy side definitely came out around them. Eleanor also found it strange that people had started shortening the name ‘Junesong Provision’ to just ‘Junesong’, It kind of weirded her out. She finally made her way to the tour grounds. She crossed the parking lot quickly and quietly. She tried to open the door as quietly as possible, not that it helped. She opened the door, seeing Vanna sitting in the living room part of the bus, with a smirk on her face. “oh... hey I’m back” Eleanor said with an uneasy laugh.
