"hello, so i'm charlene, but i hate that name. you can call me max, or kirby, or really anything. i'm twenty, i'll be twenty one soon though, in december. december twenty third to be exact. i'm currently the photographer for this pretty awesome band, off like a prom dress. it's an all girl rock group, and they're all pretty cool.
so i'm pretty average looking in my opinion. i have a round 'baby face' as my friends call it, i have really big eyes, like huge. but i love them, they're brown y'know so nothing special. though i'd love to have green or hazel eyes. i'm a bit tall, i'm five foot seven inches. my dad was really tall, and i mean it could be worse, i could have landed a lovely six feet four inches like him.
speaking of family, i moved out of the house when i was seventeen. and when i say moved i mean forced, my dad felt it time for me to move on. that and he caught me with our neighbor's son alone in a room. the worst is, we weren't even doing anything. dad's they over react over everything, and my dad coming from the vietnam war to raising kids had more of a tendency to over react. even as a kid he would flip out over the littlest of things. my dad was also cop, so it was never easy to get away with anything. my mom, she was and probably still is a homemaker. she took care of the whole family. she was actually the one that pushed my dreams of being a photographer. my dad always wanted me to be a teacher, or in his words 'something productive'. my mom always taught me to follow my dreams, and if i had a goal i should see it though.
so because of my mom's influence i've been the type to follow everything though, if you ask me to do something i'll do it. though sometimes that means pushing aside friends just to get what is needed to be done. i'm kind of, ok i'm really stubborn and i have a tendancy to filp out over things before i really should. on the brighter side though, i'm usually a pretty decent person to talk to, and i can hold a conversation with out making myself look stupid. i'm kind of a wallflower, sometimes, when i'm with my friends i can be very outgoing. however when i'm alone i become kind of shy. i guess it's 'cause i don't like new things. i'm fun and creative, well at least i think so. i like trying new things, and i love taking pictures.
so um.. i guess that about sums it all up.."
hey, so i'm ashwee. i've been roleplaying for ten years now. as well as this character, i also play n/a. you can reach me by pm is fine if you need me for anything. i found made up stories by beauxbatons (i think) and i'm pretty glad i did. here's an example of mah skillz. (:Marlyn was excited about break, and that she’d be going on her date with Izz. It meant swimming and relaxing, and of course ta tad bit depressed now that the twins were gone. They had left at Beauxbatons just yesterday. And she knew her father and step-mother would be excited about seeing them again. Now that she didnt have to worry about the kids though Marlyn had decided that she wanted to have a date near the lake, before the weather became too cold and she could no longer go swimming.
Her two biggest worries were one, that how she felt about Brendon wasn't how he had felt about her. He hadn't exactly giving off 'the signs'. She was sure it he did like her though why else would they have had that moment at the dance if he didn't? Her second worry was he wasn't going to like that she went back to her old self. She really didn't enjoy her new look, and she missed her old self.
Though she figured it was best not worry about these things prematurely. She would concern herself with it when the time came. Now she had to worry about getting herself dressed and their picnic lunch ready. Picking out her favorite dark blue bikini with little pink whales on it Mar pulled it on a tied it. Marlyn threw on her sweat pants, figuring she didn’t want to wear anything she’d be upset about getting wet. She searched around her room for her huge blanket and with a sigh she pulled out her wand and called out "Accio blanket." In a flash the blanket came out of it's hiding spot and landed at her feet. Snatching the blanket Mar grabbed her picnic basket and headed down to the lake.
Marlyn lay on the blanket her book charmed and hovering above her face. She was reading and humming softly while she waited in the warm sun. Her eyes became heavy as she waited and before she knew it she had dozed off. That was until her mind slipped off the charm and the book came crashing down on her head waking her up instantly. Sitting up and looking around Marlyn put her hand to her head and laughed at herself.
She knocked her book over to the side and shook her head. She decided while she waited she should set up. So she pulled the basket over and opened it. She set up the pillows for them to sit on while they ate. She also laid out the plates and set some flowers in the center in a cup. Nothing too romantic she didn't want it to seem exactly like a 'date' in case her truly didn't feel the same. If he did though she could always make things more romantic and date like. Marlyn ran her fingers through her hair and leaned back on her elbows. Now all she had left to do was wait for Brendon to show up.
